DraftKings Extends Horse Racing Product to Three More US States

(AsiaGameHub) – The company has expanded DraftKings Racing to Delaware, New Mexico and Rhode Island.
US.- DraftKings Racing has been expanded to Delaware, New Mexico, and Rhode Island, making pari-mutuel wagering in the operator’s sportsbook app now available in 26 US states. The move makes a transition from the DK Horse horse racing app, which was offered as an affiliate of Churchill Downs’ TwinSpires.
While available within the DraftKings Sportsbook app, DraftKings Racing operates under separate regulatory frameworks hence the state-by-state roll out.
Johnny Avello, director of race and sports operations at DraftKings, said: “With Triple Crown season approaching, we’re bringing DraftKings Racing to three new states at the perfect time to deliver an unmatched horse racing experience. By offering horse racing directly within the DraftKings Sportsbook app, we’re making it more convenient for customers to enjoy racing alongside their other favourite sports — all in one place, with one wallet and a more streamlined experience.”
DraftKings recently announced that the Arkansas Racing Commission approved the company for a licence. The company will launch its online sportsbook in a market access agreement with Southland Casino Hotel, pending final regulatory approvals.
