Happy Valley Casino in Pennsylvania reveals test days ahead of its opening

U.S.- Happy Valley Casino in Pennsylvania has announced public test days on April 24 and 25 ahead of its opening. Test days are a required step set by the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board (PGCB) to ensure operations and procedures comply with regulations. The official opening date for the casino will be announced once the test period is completed.

Happy Valley Casino is located at the Nittany Mall in State College. It will feature up to 750 slot machines, 30 table games, a full-service restaurant, and a quick-serve dining option.

Pennsylvania Gaming Revenue Sees Year-Over-Year Growth in February

The PGCB recently reported that the combined revenue generated by gaming and fantasy contests was $547.1 million in February. This represents a 14.64 per cent year-over-year increase. Tax revenue totaled $236 million.

Hollywood Casino at Penn National Race Course led the market with $106.8 million in revenue, up 19.3 per cent compared to the same month in 2025. Valley Forge Casino Resort followed with $93.7 million, up 15 per cent, while Rivers Casino Philadelphia reported $56.1 million, up 10.7 per cent, and Parx Casino posted $50.8 million, an increase of 1.6 per cent.
